About Goshen:
It began in college as a way to explore new artists and genres in music. Every week my group of friends would meet and swap around different albums we were listening to. As a result, we all were exposed to a massive amount of music.
Without these little gatherings, I would have never been exposed to all the wonderful and interesting records out there. It also let me appreciate the way an album sounds, versus just hearing a few tracks. There is an art form to the way an album progresses from track to track.
Now, years after my music club ended, I'm still collecting albums like trading cards. But now my music library is so huge that I still have yet to listen to them all. Hence the creation of this blog. Week by week I'll work my way down the playlist, album by album. Every week I will listen to an album, new and old alike, and review it.
